In a rain-curtained affair at the Eden Gardens, Mumbai Indians (MI) bowlers were breathing fireballs at Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday evening. After Jasprit Bumrah and Nuwan Thushara got rid of the openers, MI's upcoming quick Ankush Kamboj removed Kolkata's main man, Shreyas Iyer.
As Shreyas tried to flick off the backfoot, Ankush Kamboj outfoxed the KKR captain with his seam movement. On a good length, Shreyas got way too inside the line, but only to watch the ball clip the stumps as it seamed late into the batter.

Shreyas Iyer's dismissal brought Nitish Rana to the middle, who stitched a sensational partnership with Dangerous Andre Russell.
The KKR duo went on fifth gear against the MI bowling during their rapid stand of 39 runs. However, Kamboj bowled miserly by summing his spell for 1/24.
At the time of publishing, KKR is looking to post a mammoth score in a 16-over game, with the team at 136-6 after 14 overs.
