Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are having a ball against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Thursday. First with the bat and now in bowling, the RCB men are making a mockery of the Punjab team in a virtual knockout affair at Dharamsala.

After scoring a massive total of 241/7, RCB sent back in-form Prabhsimran Singh back to the dugout, thanks to the wily left-arm spinner Swapnil Singh. The 33-year-old tweaker, who has been a late inclusion to RCB's playing party, has been one of the reasons of the team's turnaround in the latter half in the season.

Despite getting hit for a boundary, Swapnil continued with brave tactics and trapped Prabhsimran with a flattish delivery at stump-to-stump line. As a result, the batter looked to defend it off the backfoot but got beaten on the inside edge.

After Prabhsimran's cheap dismissal, Jonny Bairstow and Rilee Rossouw stitched a reviving partnership for Punjab, sharing 65 runs for the second wicket by taking full advantage of the powerplay.

However, Lockie Ferguson, who's playing instead of Glenn Maxwell, brought back Bengaluru into play by cooking Bairstow before the end of powerplay.

At the time of writing, PBKS is going at a good rate with 96-2 after 8 runs.
