Openers Phil Salt and Sunil Narine have come out with all guns blazing, tormenting ruthless bowling attacks inside the powerplay. 

Even when they have failed to capitalise on the field restrictions, Shreyas Iyer, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Andre Russell have stepped up for the team's success. 

On the bowling front, KKR have hunted as a unit, with most of their bowlers having more than ten scalps under their belt. 

So, barring Rinku Singh's rough patch, nothing seems really worrisome for KKR as they inch closer towards the IPL playoffs.

Mumbai

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have had a forgettable IPL 2024 campaign under Hardik Pandya's leadership. Their lacklustre performance is well-reflected in their position in the points table, where they reel at eighth with four wins in twelve matches. 

While MI openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma have failed to give them solid starts, Suryakumar Yadav has been their lone-warrior, getting ample support from Tilak Varma. 

Finisher Tim David has shown glimpses of his big-hitting ability, but he is yet to work a lot to win matches on his own.
