Aiden Markram bowled an outrageous no ball against Rajasthan Royals (RR) when the ball slipped out of his hand and almost reached the short fine leg area.

After noticing there is no much dew at Chepauk, Sunrisers Hyderbad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins handed the ball to Shahbaz and part-timer Abhishek Sharma. Seeing Abhishek Sharma take wickets, Cummins brought Aiden Markram into the attack.

However, Markram bowled a crazy no ball to Shimron Hetmyer, which slipped out of his hand and nearly reached the short fine leg area.

It was the second ball of the 13th over when Aiden Markram delivered this strange ball, which commentator Kevin Pietersen labeled as the "worst ball ever." Despite the free hit awarded for the no ball, Hetmyer failed to convert it into a maximum.

Markram admitted that the ball slipped because of the dew on the field. He then wiped it with his handkerchief before resuming. On-field umpire Nitin Menon, however, declared it a no-ball and asked Markram to bowl it again.

Cummins Spin strategy worked vs RR

In an impressive strategic move, Sunrisers Hyderabad reached the IPL final for the first time in six years. Captain Pat Cummins noticed there was minimal dew at Chepauk and smartly deployed slow bowlers to take control of the game.

Rajasthan Royals opted to bowl first, expecting dew to play a role, but SRH capitalized on the dry conditions. Shahbaz Ahmed, brought in as an impact player, and Abhishek Sharma, who had struggled with the bat, shone with the ball, leading SRH to the final.
