Young batting prodigy Saim Ayub maintained his excellent form in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024, yet again setting the tone for his team's innings against Islamabad United on Monday, February 26. 

Saim Ayub showcased his batting prowess with 38 runs off just 21 balls, but his innings was cut short in the eighth over by Agha Salman, who dismantled his stumps after Ayub's display of three boundaries and two sixes. 

Agha Salman delivered a full, straight ball aimed at the stumps. Ayub attempted a slog sweep across the line to the leg side but failed to connect, resulting in the ball crashing into the stumps.

Saim Ayub formed a 77-run partnership with Captain Babar Azam in just 45 balls. Even in the last match, the left-hander played an outstanding knock, scoring 88 runs from just 55 balls. 

Besides him, Captain Babar Azam of Zalmi led the team from the front, delivering an outstanding performance with an unbeaten 111 runs from 63 balls, including 14 boundaries and two sixes, propelling the team to a mammoth total of 201 runs with the loss of five wickets.
