Babar Azam was in spectacular form in New Zealand, having smashed 57, 66, and 58 in successive fixtures in the opening three matches of the ongoing T20I series. However, the former Pakistan skipper failed to carry on the momentum as Adam Milne’s vicious bouncer left him bamboozled.

While facing the last ball of the seventh over in Pakistan’s innings, Babar had no clue how to face Adam Milne’s 149.5 kph bouncer. While attempting a pull, he was outpaced by the pace and ultimately found a huge top edge. Placed at deep mid-wicket, Glenn Phillips made no mistake while completing a simple catch with safe hands.

With the outcome, Babar’s spectacular form with the bat ended as he could only muster 19 off 11 balls with the help of two fours and one six before losing his wicket.

Meanwhile, the Men in Green, who have already lost the series by losing three matches in the row, are not in a great place as of writing. They have posted 82/2 after 12.2 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman in the middle, on 53* and 9* respectively.
