England needed to defeat Oman swiftly, and they were ready for the mission as the Oman side were bundled out for a paltry 47. The Jos Buttler led side had to chase down the total inside 5.2 overs to move above Scotland's net run-rate, and they certainly looked like a team possessed.

Bilal takes revenge from Phil Salt

Starting off the chase, Phil Salt gave England a dream start, smacking the first two deliveries for maximums. Salt made his intentions clear as England were up for the challenge. However, despite getting hammered for two colossal sixes, Oman bowler, Bilal Khan, kept his confidence and knocked over the England opener in the next delivery to take revenge.

He bowled a length ball on the middle stump as Salt saw an opportunity to hit another six. However, he got an inside-edge and the ball shattered the stumps as Bilal got the much needed respite.

Talking about the match, Oman had a disastrous outing with the bat, getting dismissed for 47. Adil Rashid (4), Mark Wood (3), and Jofra Archer (3) were the bowlers who destroyed the Oman batting lineup as England have found themselves in a great position after a disastrous start to their T20 World Cup campaign.
