It seems like England are finally playing like the defending T20 World Cup champions. After a couple of lacklustre contests, the Three Lions needed a boost, and they got it against Oman in the ongoing group stage match.

Opting to bowl first, England opened the wicket floodgates, with Jofra Archer starting the carnage by dismissing Athavale. Soon, Mark Wood joined the party as his double wicket over pushed Oman on the back-foot inside the power-play.

Buttler's stumping reminds fans of MSD

However, the highlight of the first 6 overs was the stumping by Jos Buttler to send back Khalid Kail back to the pavilion. The stumping was swiftly done and it reminded fans of MS Dhoni and how the former India skipper was cool and composed behind the stumps.

Adil Rashid, the leg-spinner bowled a leg-break that spun away from the batter, who went for a slog sweep and missed it completely. Khalid's back-foot was out of the crease and in the blink of an eye, Buttler showed his magic and dislodged the bails to dismiss the batter. He missed it in the first attempt, but was quick enough to take off the bails in the second attempt.

The wicket meant that Oman had lost half the side inside the first 6-overs. After a loss against Australia in the last match, England are eyeing a big win to stay alive in the race for Super 8 slot.
