Virat Kohli's VHT craze is beyond words to describe!
Many videos and photos shared on social media showed fans outside the stadium going to extreme lengths to see him play. Some fans climbed tall trees near the ground, carefully sitting on branches to get a clear view of their favourite cricketer.
Others were even more daring. A few fans climbed onto a water tanker located about 300 feet away from the field, while some stood on top of a truck parked on the road on the other side of the stadium.
Since there was no live streaming of the match and fans were not allowed inside the stadium, they had to get creative to watch the game. Trees, vehicles, and other high spots became viewing platforms, showing just how far supporters went to see Kohli play.

How Kohli justified BCCI's directive with match-winning performances
Virat Kohli recently returned to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 after being asked to participate by the BCCI. Before this season, he had not played in this domestic tournament for over 15 years.
His comeback has been more than impressive: in two innings, the star batter has scored 208 runs at an average of 104 and a strike rate of 128.40.
In his first match of the tournament, Kohli scored a brilliant 131 runs against Andhra Pradesh. He did not stop there; he followed it up with another match-winning performance against Gujarat and made 77 runs in 61 balls.
Even at the age of 37, Virat Kohli continues to set very high standards for himself and others. His recent performances show that he is still in top form and capable of delivering big innings.
Considering how well he is playing right now, it makes little sense to doubt his place in India’s 2027 World Cup squad. Kohli is proving once again why he is regarded as one of the greatest batters of his generation.
