In a significant development, India comfortably defeated the West Indies by 7 wickets in the second and final Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday. Needing just 58 runs to win on the final day, India resumed their innings at 63/1 and chased down the target in 17.2 overs.

Openers KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan began the day for the team. Sudharsan was dismissed after a sharp catch taken by Shai Hope, while Gill fell shortly after trying to accelerate the chase. Eventually, India crossed the line with ease, sealing the match and the series.
