On the last day of the Lord’s Test, Team India is under fire as their batting lineup has crumbled under pressure again. Chasing the 193 target, Indian batters struggled in front of the excellence of the English bowling lineup.

After smashing a ton in the first innings, KL Rahul walked away after scoring 39 runs in the second innings, and Team India is still away from victory. With pressure mounting on the visitors, victory now seems to be slipping further out of reach.

Following the collapse while chasing a modest total, fans flooded social media with sharp criticism, expressing their frustration with the Indian batters’ performance.

Team India Faces Batting Meltdown Again

After the historic match at Edgbaston, fans are enjoying a thrilling showdown at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. After leveling the first innings score of 387, Team India’s batting collapsed in the second innings while chasing down a low total of 193 runs.

Chasing the target, Yashasvi Jaiswal had another forgettable outing, walking away on a duck. After stitching a 36-run partnership withKL Rahul, Karun Nair was again as he departed, scoring only 14 runs. Captain Shubman Gill’s struggle in the ongoing clash continued as Brydon Carse sent him back in just 6 runs.

Team management’s decision to send Akash Deep in the upper order backfired as the bowler walked away scoring just 1 run. KL Rahul tried to anchor the chase, but Ben Stokes dismissed him for 39, adding to India’s troubles. Washington Sundar, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Rishabh Pant’s early dismissals deepened their woes.

After the horrific batting show while chasing the low total, fans couldn’t keep calm. On social media, they sparked outrage over the dismal batting score.

“How much a leader matters, this is the perfect example, had it been root's team, i think india would have chased this down most probably, but this stokes's team, guy keeps them together, leads from the front. literally gave english version of 'they should feel hell out here" - @pantesque

“Same collapse again. Whenever bouncy, turning pitch comes India can't play in most of the situations. In this time only real test batsman skills required. It's very difficult to become Rahul Dravid or VVS. current team only good in Test when normal pitch,” - @JaySarangi

“For 60 overs, they should feel hell out there Virat Kohli said this at Lord’s, and he delivered. Today, India’s team is facing that same fire. The difference? That was Virat Kohli’s team. This one is just BCCI’s,” -@clutchgod018

"This team needed a defensive batsman like Pujara , everything else is fine. With Pujara, India could have won easily. Jaiswal needed to show discipline in the first few overs, still it's a good team,” @rram_c

“Then people call sa chokers who made 280 against trio of Aussie that too at lords that too in finale , real chokers is team india to be honest with that amount of resources which is made available to team india , they had get better of it , such a shame!” -@sawyasssss

“Shameful batting performance by Team India. Gautham Gambhir doesn't deserve to continue and no excuses needed. This team is over confident with all fake aggression but lacks temperament. What a collosal failure in #Lords,” @vishnufam
