The fifth Test between India and England is turning out to be quite a heated contest. Right from Day 3, the players have gone up against each other not only with their cricket skills but also with some sharp words and actions.

Jadeja Gets Angry Due To Collision With English Pacer

Now, on the final day of the game, tensions rose again as Ravindra Jadeja charged towards Brydon Carse after the final ball of the 35th over. The Indian all-rounder got irritated because of Carse's tendency to come in the way of the batters while they are running between the wickets. On that final ball of the over, Jadeja collided with Brydon Carse which frustrated the Indian star further and he decided to make English bowler aware of it with some nasty words.

The Indian all-rounder made rapid advances towards Brydon Carse, and was pretty close to physical contact. Stokes, though, intervened at the right time and came between the two players to make sure that the situation does not escalate further. Carse was seen telling Ravindra Jadeja that batters should run around the bowler but Jadeja was in no mood to back down or listen to any advice from the fast bowler.

Tensions Continue To Rise As Lord's Test Turns Thriller

Overall, Ravindra Jadeja's anger was not because of a single incident as he clearly observed Carse's repeated knack of coming in the way of the batters. The match is also in a pretty delicate situation as India have lost seven wickets and are still some distance away from the target.

England just need one more wicket, and they would be in the bowler's list, which makes the presence of both Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Reddy crucial. Both teams have tried out the tactic of sledging each other to make batters lose their concentration, and expect some more heated battles as the game continues to get closer at the Lord's.
