Prominent Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was seen enjoying Day 5 of the third Test between India and England at Lord’s Cricket Ground. He was seated in the stands with his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and former cricketer Ravi Shastri.

The city of London is buzzing with sports chatter as the Tennis tournament, Wimbledon, and a high-voltage Test match between India and England are happening simultaneously in the city. 

While Wimbledon concluded on July 13, Day 5 of the Lord’s Test went on floors on Monday, July 14.

Akshay Kumar Spotted At Lord’s Supporting India

The Lord’s Test between India and England is perfectly poised for a thrilling end as the visitors have been tasked to chase 193 runs. On Day 5, the stadium was packed with many fans turning to witness a thriller.

Apart from fans, famous celebrity Akshay Kumar was also seen enjoying the game from the stands. The veteran actor was seated alongside his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and former captain turned commentator Ravi Shastri.

Akshay’s latest movie, ‘Housefull 5,’ released last month and is a massive hit at the box office. He has several films lined up, some with big banners. 

Lord’s Test Hung In Balance

Meanwhile, Indian fans had to endure disappointment as the visiting team lost 3 wickets in the first hour of Day 5’s play. After Jofra Archer cleaned up Rishabh Pant, Ben Stokes weaved his magic to trap KL Rahul in an LBW dismissal.

Archer once again dominated in his spell with a blinder catch in his over to dismiss Washington Sundar on a 4-ball duck. India were 7 wickets down with 82 runs on board, and Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Reddy are the last pair keeping India’s victory chances alive.
