There is no doubt that the South Delhi Superstarz is the best team in Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024. The team has an explosive batting lineup, and have made full use of the placid conditions on offer at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

South Delhi Superstarz register score of 300-plus

In the ongoing contest against the North Delhi Strikers, the Ayush Badoni led side hammered a record 308/5 in their allotted 20 overs, and surpassed the record set by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (287/3), which they achieved against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2024.

The score of 287 was the second highest score in T20 cricket's history, with the highest being 314/3, which was achieved by Nepal against Mangolia. The day started on a bright note for the North Delhi side, as they picked up an early wicket of Sarthak Ray for just 11 runs. However, the carnage was about to begin as Priyansh Arya and Ayush Badoni took the opposition attack to the cleaners.

A record 30 sixes were hammered in the first innings as the North Delhi side looked clueless and conceded 300+ runs against the South Delhi team. Interestingly, both Priyansh and Badoni reached their respective hundreds, and hammered 29 sixes between the two of them.
