Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to form with their fierce hitting in the India versus South Africa first ODI at Ranchi. The duo have stitched up mammoth scores for India inside 20 overs as the team stands at 153-1. 

Kohli, who reached his 50 from 48, currently stands at 65, while Rohit Sharma, who also racked up 50 from 43, went back after scoring 57 runs. These returns, however, have been celebrated by Indian fans, with netizens taking a jibe at India coach Gautam Gambhir, who is known to have a hot and cold rift with the pair.

After a horrendous India vs South Africa Test series loss, Gautam Gambhir was unapologetical in front of the media. Aggressive with his comments on the loss, which the Indian fans did not take lightly, netizens took to X, formerly Twitter, and bashed Gambhir, mocking the coach after the duo's return.
