Most runs in IND vs SA ODIs: Virat Kohli goes past Jacques Kallis
Prior to the first ODI against South Africa, Virat Kohli had 1504 ODI runs against South Africa. Notably, legendary allrounder Jacques Kallis had 1535 runs in the ODIs between India and South Africa. So, as Kohli scored his 32nd run, he went past Kallis to become the second leading run-getter in India-South Africa ODIs.

In another milestone, Virat Kohli also joined Sachin Tendulkar at the top of the list of Indian batters with the most fifty-plus scores against South Africa. Kohli had 24 50-plus scores and the half-century in the Ranchi ODI helped him register his 25th score of fifty runs or more against the Proteas in international cricket.
