Rohit Sharma Becomes Captain With Most Sixes In International Cricket; Hammers 58 Vs SL In 1st ODI

Rohit Sharma and his ability to hit effortless sixes is a sight to behold. In recent times, he has become even more aggressive batter, and is taking on bowlers right from the onset. Now, in the first ODI of the three-match series between India and Sri Lanka, Rohit created history by becoming the captain with the most sixes in international cricket.

He scored 58 off 47 balls and hit three sixes in it, the final six took him to his fifty and that was also the six that took him over Eoin Morgan's tally of sixes as captain in international cricket. Rohit has now 234 sixes in 124 matches and 134 innings while Eoin Morgan has 233 sixes in 198 matches and 180 innings.

Third on the list is legendary MS Dhoni with 211 sixes as international captain while Ricky Ponting is fourth with 171 and Brendon McCullum is fifth with 170 sixes.
