Tables have turned in the ongoing first ODI between India and Sri Lanka, as the Men in Blue are in trouble chasing a target of 231. 

Sri Lanka, batting first, put 230 runs on the board as they lost early wickets but a fifty-plus score from Dunith Wellalage helped Sri Lanka finish strongly. 

In reply, India started the run-chase on a high, as Rohit Sharma went all guns blazing and scored a 33-ball fifty. However, wickets collapsed like dominos for the Men in Blue as they went from 75/0 to 132/5. 

Virat Kohli too failed to be impress in his ODI return, as the former India captain, who last played an ODI in the 2023 World Cup final, scored just 24 (32), which featured just two fours.

Virat fell prey to former RCB star Wanindu Hasaranga, as the ex-SL captain trapped Kohli in front of the wickets on the first ball of the 24th over.
