RCB TO Bowl First Vs PBKS At Chinnaswamy; No Karn Sharma In Playing XI

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru are playing their first home game of IPL 2024 and they will be bowling first after winning the all-important toss. RCB have made one change as they have dropped Karn Sharma from their playing XI while PBKS are most likely to bring in Arshdeep Singh in the second innings as an impact player.

RCB lost their first game of IPL 2024 against CSK while PBKS started off with a comprehensive win against Delhi Capitals.

Punjab Kings Playing XI: Shikhar Dhawan (c), Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Liam Livingstone, Shashank Singh, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar, Harpreet Brar.

PBKS Impact Subs: Arshdeep Singh, Rilee Rossouw, Tanay Thyagarajan, Harpreet Bhatia, and Vidhwath Kaverappa.

It’s a flat deck at Chinnaswamy and the team chasing have a definite advantage and PBKS need to get a big score on the board. They have plenty of power-hitters in their line-up and if they do get to a great start, they have all the arsenal to put a score well above 200 on the board.

Also, RCB bowlers will be low on confidence after the beating they got in the first game and it is important that the likes of Siraj and Alzarri Joseph step up in this game. RCB's top order also failed in the first game and we can expect at least two of the famed trio of Virat, Faf du Plessis and Maxwell to fire in this match.
