The highly anticipated third ODI between Sri Lanka and West Indies is all set to take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele on October 26. Charith Asalanka led- Sri Lanka have already sealed the series with two consecutive wins and would hope to continue this winning momentum.

In a rain-marred first ODI, Sri Lanka dominated over the visitors via DLS method and then followed that up with a five-wicket victory in the very next game at this venue. This has been a series to remember for Sri Lanka and with just one final clash remaining, they would aim to conclude it on a positive.

Under the leadership of Shai Hope, West Indies, on the other hand, has witnessed frequent top-order collapses with only support from a handful players like Shane Rutherford. The upcoming game is the final chance for the Men In Maroon to redeem themselves and end the series on a high note.

According to Accuweather's weather predictions, things don't look too promising at the Pallekele International Stadium for this clash. Just like the previous two games, there are strong chances of rain interrupting the play once again. 

The temperature is expected to be between 28° C and 34° C, with wind coming in from the West at 9 km/h accompanied by wind gusts of 28 km/h. According to the forecast, there is an 85% chance of precipitation and a 25% probability of thunderstorms. 

The weather throughout the day is expected to be humid, coupled with occasional showers and a 95% cloud cover. Hence, the game will be marred by rain, and play will be interrupted.
