India is in a dire need of some strong words of motivation in order to pull themselves together in the on-going second Test between India and New Zealand at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

After a heartbreaking loss in the first Test, Rohit Sharma and co would have hoped to bounce back stronger, however, things have been quiet the opposite. Amidst the on-field chaos, an interaction between Rishabh Pant and the entire team is going viral as he looks to motivate the bunch with some positive words.

Pant is heard saying "Chalo chalo dheela nahi hona, body language uthana padega bhaiyo" (c'mon, we need to up the body language), on the stump mic. This incident took place in the first innings when New Zealand batters were giving India a tough time.

Pant Motivates The Indian Team

Conway-Rachin Put NZ on Front Foot

Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra turned nightmare for India as they stitched up a solid partnership of 62 runs. The Kiwis consistently scored runs all through Day 1 and eventually were bowled out for 259 runs. India got off on the wrong foot as they lost Captain Rohit Sharma for a duck on Day 1 as India and came out to bat in the concluding hours of the day.

The next day began with hope, with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill doing well. However, Mitchell Santner's onslaught, which eventually led to his figures ever being in India, began when he removed Gill.

Following this, India's top-order and middle-order began to crumble as the home side lost key wickets of Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant and Safaraz Khan. At the time of writing, India still trails by 103, and New Zealand batters have walked out to bat yet again with a lead of 111 runs.
