The star Pakistan bowling all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has been in an amazing run of form with the ball in the last couple of T20I games, especially in the recently concluded T20I Tri-Series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. He played a vital role with his bowling to help Pakistan win the home T20I Tri-Series, defeating Sri Lanka by six wickets.

He ended up winning the ‘Player of the Series’ award for finishing as the leading wicket-taker in the Tri-Series, with 10 wickets in just five innings. Nawaz registered a brilliant economy rate of 5.66, with an impressive strike rate of 10.80 and the best figures of 3/16.

Besides that, the Rawalpindi-born all-rounder also secured a spot in the elite list for Pakistan in the T20 internationals, with a ‘Player of the Match’ award in the summit clash against Sri Lanka.
