Legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli had a fantastic start to the ODI series against South Africa, as he slammed a magnificent century in the opening game at JSCA stadium in Ranchi. Soon after reaching his hundred, Virat Kohli encountered a fan who touched his feet in admiration.

The incident happened in the 38th over when South African skipper Aiden Markram handed the ball to ace speedster Marco Jansen to break the stand between Kohli and KL Rahul. After Rahul took a single off the third delivery, Kohli gently guided the fifth ball to the deep backward point fence for a boundary.
As he was stranded on 99, the boundary helped Kohli register a memorable hundred, his 52nd in the format. While the legendary batter took a giant leap to celebrate his century, one of his fans intruded the playing area and touched his feet in admiration.
Although the security personnel were swift enough to take the fan out of the ground, his gesture showcased his love for the Indian great.
