The stage is set for the qualifiers to begin in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.  After 70 gruelling league stage matches, the time has come for the remaining four teams to step up the paddle as the race to the finale has begun.

The Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2024 takes place between the top-2 teams - Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. KKR have been the team to beat in this tournament, having finished at the top of the table. Led by Shreyas Iyer, the team has exceeded all expectations and will be gunning to reach the finals.

On the other hand, SRH have been a breath of fresh air in the tournament. Their ultra-aggressive approach has paid dividend as the oppositions have a fear of their top-order batters. Skipper Pat Cummins will hope that SRH once again reach the finals, just like they did in 2016 and 2018.

However, there is one more aspect which the two teams have to keep in mind - Rain.

The temperature will be on the higher side at 41 degrees celsius, and it will be sunny for most of the day. However, as per accuweather, there is prediction for passing showers, but that won't affect the match.

The team which wins the battle will go through to the finals, and the losing team will get one more chance to qualify, as they get to play the Qualifier 2.
