The much anticipated clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is just a few hours away as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on the mighty Chennai Super Kings. Both the teams are eyeing a qualification place and hence, this match is a virtual knockout.

So far, three teams - KKR, SRH, and RR have qualified for the playoffs, and with other teams eliminated, the quest for a fourth place will be settled tonight at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, when the Southern Derby takes place.

CSK just need a win to qualify for the next round, and even a washed-out game will see them prevail against the Royal Challengers. However, the equation is not so simple for RCB. They need to win by a margin of 18 runs (irrespective of whether they bat or bowl).

But there is a third factor which the RCB fans need to keep in mind - rain in Bengaluru. It has been raining like cats and dogs for the last few days, and the weather looks bad for today as well.
