Devdutt Padikkal simply can't catch a break in this IPL season. The elegant southpaw, who was bought in with a lot of hope, has been woeful right from his first game for the Lucknow Super Giants.

So far, Padikkal has played at number three for the Super Giants, but he got an opportunity to open the innings alongside captain KL Rahul. He had a chance to redeem himself, but Nuwan Thushara had some other plans as the MI pacer castled him with a fiery in-swinger.
