A recent stone-cold image of former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, from the clash between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2024 has set social media abuzz, capturing the attention of cricket fans worldwide.

CSK hosted GT in an IPL 2024 season clash earlier today at Chepauk. The hosts batted first and posted a gigantic total of 206 runs on the board courtesy of Rachin Ravindra and Shivam Dubey's blockbuster knocks.

That being said, as CSK's innings raced through their conclusion, former captain MS Dhoni patiently waited for his chance by monitoring the game from the dressing room. He promoted Sameer Rizvi and Ravindra Jadeja, who finished things well for CSK.

Meanwhile, whilst Dhoni was fully immersed in observing the game, the cameramen captured a stone-cold picture of him, which went viral on social media. The photograph depicted Dhoni in his element and served as a mega source of inspiration and reassurance for CSK fans.

Interestingly, MS Dhoni is yet to entertain the fans with the bat this IPL edition. The top order and finishers have been spot-on in their executions and didn't require any help from the ex-captain.

However, Dhoni made his presence felt in the chase with an outstanding diving catch behind the wickets. Moreover, despite Ruturaj being the official captain of CSK, MS Dhoni continues to call the shots on the field. 

The match is currently tilted in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) favor as Gujarat Titans' required run rate has soared beyond 15 runs per over.
