Only a few players can look more dangerous than Shivam Dube when it comes to smashing spinners out of the park. The CSK all-rounder showed his composure yet again on Tuesday (March 26) while facing Gujarat Titans in Match 7 of the IPL 2024 at Chepauk.

More importantly, the manner in which he blasted R Sai Kishore right from the get-go reminded fans how Yuvraj Singh used to dominate his opposition.

After Saha stumped Ajinkya Rahane off Sai Kishore, Shivam Dube came to bat at No. 4. He did not waste any time, bending down on one knee before smashing him out of the park for a 87-meter six over long-on. The next ball was dispatched as well, as Dube slammed the left-arm spinner over deep mid-wicket to make two sixes in two balls.

Meanwhile, CSK are on a solid position, having reached 143/3 after 14.2 overs. The Yellow Brigade has smashed 12 fours and seven sixes in total as of writing, with Dube smashing three maximums out of them in front of the sea of yellow.
