Match 13 of the 2023 edition of the Maharaja T20 League will witness Bengaluru Blasters take on Mysore Warriors on Saturday in the first match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. It is a clash between two extremes, with the Warriors in the upper half of the points table and the Blasters in the lower.

The Mayank Agarwal-led Bengaluru Blasters have failed to make a mark in the initial few matches. The main reason has been inconsistent batting, which has failed to achieve both set targets and chase down totals.

Apart from wicketkeeper Suraj Ahuja, and Jeswath Acharya, no other batter has managed to score big. The bowling has shown flashes of brilliance with all-rounder Shubhang Hegde and LR Kumar doing the heavy lifting.

After a poor start, the Warriors notched up their maiden win in the competition, winning quite comprehensively. Captain Karun Nair has looked in top form so far and is leading from the front, having slammed 141 runs already.

Nair has found reliable aides in Ravikumar Samarth and all-rounder Manoj Bhandage, who have been the aggressor. With Prasidh Krishna away called for international duties, Bhandage has shone with the ball as both Muralidhara Venkatesh and Jagadeesha Suchith have lent solid support.
