Indian fans are eager to welcome Jasprit Bumrah back as they are set to take the field on Friday for the first of the three-match T20I series in Ireland at The Village, Dublin. Even the International Cricket Council (ICC), the sport's highest governing body, could not help but share a post to express their excitement at seeing Bumrah back at the highest level because they know what it means to world cricket.

In a photo that was posted on Friday, the ICC used two lines, “The Lord of Swing” and "The Return of the King," which are pretty relevant to anyone who has watched Game of Thrones, an HBO fantasy drama television series.

It is understandable that Bumrah, who last played for the Men in Blue in September, will be eager to deliver his usual top-notch performance upon his return. The ICC is also anticipating this, as evidenced by their caption of "Coming Soon."

Here's the blockbuster Jasprit Bumrah poster shared by the ICC:

Bumrah will lead India in Ireland, as the three-match series will get underway in Dublin. The 29-year-old is one of India's most prolific wicket-takers across formats, having picked up 128 wickets in 30 Tests, 121 wickets in 72 ODIs, and 70 wickets in 60 T20Is.

However, Bumrah's ability to perform to his full potential has been compromised by frequent injuries.
