Josh Hazlewood struck early for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by getting rid of firebrand Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya in the IPL 2025 final. The speedster delivered the breakthrough in the second over of his opening spell inside the powerplay, courtesy of some sharp fielding from Phil Salt at the boundary at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
Notably, Hazlewood also became one of RCB’s most successful bowlers in any single edition of the tournament, considering the legendary Australian paceman extended his IPL 2025 tally to 22 wickets.
