Captain's Thoughts

Aiden Markram (South Africa Captain): "We are gonna bowl first. Looks like a good wicket. Can't see it changing for the course of 100 overs. There is no need to change the way we played the last game. Need to take wickets regularly, need to restrict them and execute our plans. The bowlers are ready to bowl in this heat. We need to stick to the same plans and execute some plans better than the previous game. It's another opportunity to perform for the country. The boys are ready for it. One last push for most of the guys before a nice break, we'll try our best. Expect more of the same we did in the second ODI. The dimensions here are certainly different, so running hard between wickets will be key. Same team."

KL Rahul (India Captain): "No, not disappointed. It's a good wicket and will remain true throughout. So, not a bad option to bat first. The wicket will be even for both innings and the lights come on pretty late here.

Rajat Patidar is making his debut. He comes in place of Ruturaj Gaikwad, who has done some damage to his finger in the previous ODI. Kuldeep Yadav gets a rest and Washington Sundar comes in."
