The bidding war for Joseph unfolded among RCB, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, and the newly introduced Lucknow Super Kings. RCB exhibited unwavering determination, engaging in a spirited battle with their competitors. Ultimately, RCB emerged victorious, securing Alzarri Joseph's services for a substantial Rs 11.5 crore.
As the dust settles on the IPL auction, RCB has made strategic moves to strengthen their squad. Notable departures include Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, Finn Allen, Michael Bracewell, David Willey, Wayne Parnell, Sonu Yadav, Avinash Singh, Siddharth Kaul, and Kedar Jadhav. On the flip side, they have welcomed Mayank Dagar and Cameron Green, the latter acquired through a trade with the Mumbai Indians.
