In the second ODI between India and South Africa, Sai Sudharsan's promising innings came to an end at the hands of Lutho Williams. After a well-composed knock of 62 runs off 83 balls, Sudharsan's wicket marked a significant moment in the match.

Facing Williams, Sudharsan fell victim to the extra bounce generated by the South African bowler. Williams, steaming in around the wicket, delivered a wobbled seam delivery that pitched short and wide outside the off stump. Sudharsan attempted a cut shot but was deceived by the unexpected bounce. The ball took the outside edge of his bat, flying towards Heinrich Klaasen behind the stumps. Although Klaasen fumbled initially, he managed to secure the catch in the second attempt.

Despite the dismissal, Sudharsan's performance in the match showcased his talent and potential. The 22-year-old became only the second Indian batter to achieve the feat of scoring two fifties in his first two ODIs, joining the exclusive company of Navjot Singh Sidhu, who accomplished this in 1987. Sudharsan's innings added excitement to the game, emphasizing the promising future he holds in Indian cricket.
