India’s legendary cricketer, MS Dhoni will, probably, be seen one last time on the field in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. He has been the face of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) since the inception of the tournament.

Through his impeccable leadership skills, he has made Chennai Super Kings one of the most successful outfits in the Indian Premier League. Dhoni has led the franchise to win as many as five titles across 15 editions.

CSK, currently, have the joint highest number of titles in the cash-rich league along with Mumbai Indians. Apart from these two franchises, there is one more franchise which has a massive fan following but hasn’t been able to win a title in the tournament’s history and that is Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

RCB has played every season since the start of the league but couldn’t quite win any edition, thus far. Over the years, they have had many world class players playing in the team but the franchise failed to claim the trophy on a single occasion.

Despite that, the fans continue to support them and are hopeful of their team winning the title in upcoming edition. Meanwhile, a video has been going viral on the social media where an RCB fan was seen requesting MS Dhoni in an event to support the Red Army and help them win the elusive title.

"I am a die-hard RCB fan from 16 years. Like the way you have won five titles for CSK, I want you to come to support us and win one title for us," a fan requested.

In reply, MS Dhoni heaped praise on Royal Challengers Bangalore team but said that it would be unfair on CSK fans if he would support other teams.

"They are a very good team. But what you also need to know is that in cricket, everything doesn't go according to plan. So If you're talking about the IPL, all the 10 teams, more often than not, if they have the good players, all of them are very strong teams," Dhoni said.

"The problem arises if you're missing a few players because of injury or reasons like that. So they have a very good team and everyone has a fair chance in the IPL. As of now, I have so many things to worry about in my own team. I'd like to wish every team all the very best. But I can't really do more than that because imagine me going out of the way to help other teams, how will our fans feel?" he added.
