The second Test between India and Bangladesh kicked off at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Friday, September 27. Rain played a spoilsport as the game halted shortly after lunch. Bangladesh are 107/3 after stumps on day 1.

Aakash Deep took two early wickets, but Mominul Haque and Najmul Shanto stitched a fifty-runs-plus stand for the 3rd wicket before R Ashwin got rid of the Bangladeshi skipper. 

Meanwhile, Haque looks solid as he is batting on 40 (81), featuring seven fours. Talking about Haque, there was a moment on the pitch featuring him and Rishabh Pant.

Notably, a video has gone viral on the internet showing Pant sledging Haque over his height. During the 33rd over, Pant can be heard saying, 'Isko Helmet par bhi LBW mangling (We can appeal for LBW even if the ball hits his helmet).'

Soon after Rishabh comments, Sunil Gavaskar, who was present in the commentary box bursted out laughing. Talking about the little master, he too made it to the news after he mocked English media on air. 

Rishabh Pant Plots Najmul Shanto's Wicket

In the latest developments, a video has been going viral on the internet, and Rishabh Pant has grabbed the headlines for his vital role in Shanto's wicket.

Notably, Ashwin bowled a fuller delivery before the wicket-taking delivery, which Shanto defended well. Meanwhile, speaking in Hindi, Pant asked Ashwin to pitch the ball upwards. The right-arm off-spinner obliged and got Shanto's wicket on the very next delivery.
