Bangladesh sprung a surprise and took their revenge as the Tigers defeated Pakistan in the first two T20I matches to seal the series. The visiting Pakistan side thrashed Bangladesh in the reverse T20I fixtures at home, a couple of months earlier, but Bangladesh were at their absolute best to take the home T20I series.

It won't be an understatement to say that Pakistan were outplayed in the first two T20I games, and they now find themselves in a match where the Men in Green need to win to salvage their pride. Ahead of the match, we look at what transpired in the toss in the dead rubber third T20I.

Who won the toss in BAN Vs PAK 3rd T20I

Bangladesh won the toss and captain Litton Das had no hesitation in electing to bowl first on a surface which won't change its nature for the entire 40 overs. Pakistan sprung a surprise as they dropped Fakhar Zaman from their playing XI, and have included Sahibzada Farhan in his place.

Fakhar was not included in the Pakistan team after the conclusion of T20 World Cup in 2024. He was selected in the team for the Bangladesh tour, but has looked scratchy in the first two matches. However, the decision seems harsh as Saim Ayub, who also failed to deliver the goods was backed for the third game as well.
