Netizens Heap Praise On Yash Dayal Following India Call-Up: 'Comeback Ho Toh Aisa'

On Sunday, BCCI announced the squad for the highly-awaited two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh, slated to kick off on September 19. The 15-man squad had some eye-widening exclusions but also some heartwarming inclusions, one of whom was Yash Dayal.

Dayal's journey to the point of his India call-up has been far from perfect, from being smashed five sixes in a row to being dropped in Gujarat Titans' playing XI to being picked up by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2024 auctions and becoming a crucial death-over bowler for the franchise, he has genuinely reincarnated the phrase 'hard work pays off'.

A reverberation of this has evidently been seen all over Twitter (now known as 'X'), as fans joined forces to congratulate the left arm medium fast bowler for his maiden India call-up.

One fan wrote, “Bhagwan downfall kitna bhi bura de par comeback Yash Dayal jaisa de...From severe clinical depression in 2023 to making the Indian team in 2024.″  Others shared their excitement and happiness by congratulating the 26-year old pacer.

An interesting call has been made to include Yash Dayal in the squad. The RCB star performed well in the IPL and was outstanding with the ball in the just concluded round 1 of the Duleep Trophy.
