The much anticipated IPL 2023 final is finally set to commence as the defending champions, Gujarat Titans will take on the 4-time champions, Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Relentless rain spoiled the fun last night, but there was a reserve day in place and the finale is set to conclude tonight.

CSK vs GT: Toss Updates

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and MS Dhoni was welcomed to a loud cheer as he elected to bowl first.

With dark clouds hovering around, MSD was clear that he wanted to chase the target. He added that the fans have suffered more than the players yesterday and they deserve to witness a full 40-over IPL final.

As expected, CSK are going in with the same squad that played in Qualifier 1 against the same opposition - Gujarat Titans.

Talking about GT, Hardik also wanted to bowl first, considering the weather. He stated that rain is not in anyone’s control, and whichever team plays well, will win the title. Hardik also said that the surface is a batting paradise and truckloads of runs will be scored.

Just like CSK, the Titans are also going in with the same playing XI.
