'Best Fans': Hayden Applauds Fans as They Walk Through Waterlogged Streets
The final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans was pushed to the reserve day because of the relentless rain that took place on Sunday. Not even a single delivery was bowled as the fans, who bought the tickets for the final were left disappointed.
Despite the bad weather, the fans didn't lose hope and patiently waited for some good news, which unfortunately didn't arrive.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) thanked the fans for their patience and support and has urged them to turn up in large numbers to support their favourite side.
Post the unfortunate turn of events, former Australian cricketer turned commentator, Matthew Hayden showered praise on the fans, and shared a video on his Instagram, showing the passion and dedication of the cricket lovers.

“Love you guys #bestfans. See you tomorrow GT vs CSK IPL2023 Finals.” Hayden captioned his story.
Talking about the CSK vs GT final, the cut-off time for a 5-over match is 11:56 PM IST, if the rain occurs. However, if the entire game gets washed out, GT will be crowned the IPL champions, as they finished on top of the table during the league stage.
