Boland Park Paarl Pitch Report For IND vs SA 3rd ODI

On Thursday, two formidable teams, India and South Africa, will collide for the one final time in the all-important decider of the ongoing three-match ODI series

Riding on the bowlers' exceptional performance, India crushed the hosts by eight wickets in the opening game in Johannesburg. However, an impactful spell from Nandre Burger and a flamboyant hundred from Tony de Zorzi helped the Proteas return the favour by defeating the Men in Blue convincingly in the subsequent fixture in Gqeberha.

So, the series, levelled at one-all, is set to witness a fairytale end to it, as both teams gear up to clash in the final encounter in Paarl. Before the battle begins, here's how the pitch is expected to behave throughout the contest.

Boland Park Paarl Pitch Report

The surface at Boland Park in Paarl will be drier than what we saw in Johannesburg or Gqeberha. So, it will offer minimal seam movement to the fast bowlers

However, the hot and humid conditions in Paarl will likely make the surface dry. As a result, we might see the spinners getting some turn throughout the day. If it's indeed a dry pitch, the pacers will exploit it by bowling more cutters and change-ups than the regular seam-up delivery.

Statistically, Paarl has been a happy hunting ground for the teams batting first. So, unless overcast conditions greet the teams, expect the toss-winner to bat first.
