English all-rounder Ben Stokes achieved the milestone of 200 Test wickets by dismissing Kirk McKenzie in the first match against West Indies.

Stokes now joins an exclusive club as only the third player in Test cricket history to achieve both 200 wickets and 6000 runs. The other two players who share this unique record are Gary Sobers and Jacques Kallis.

English captain Ben Stokes claimed another wicket in the game, of Mikyle Louis, bringing his tally to 201 wickets and his runs to 6320.

Gary Sobers took 8032 runs and took 235 wickets, whereas Jacques Kallis achieved 13289 runs and 292 wickets in their iconic careers.

Ben Stokes-The Key Man of England

The England captain debuted in 2013 and quickly became a crucial player of England's Test team dynamics. He completed 100 test matches earlier this year against India in Rajkot.

England & Wales Cricket Board felicitated skipper Ben Stokes with a special 'Silver Cap'  today for completing 100 Test matches.

Stokes' career had been slowed down by injuries many times. Despite facing injuries that sidelined him, Stokes returned stronger, demonstrating his all-round abilities and eventually leading England.
