Australia will eye a clean sweep when they lock horns with the West Indies in the third and final T20I of the three-match series on Tuesday, February 13 at Perth Stadium, Australia.

AUS vs WI 3rd T20I Preview

Australia

Australia have been on fire in the first two T20Is, trouncing the West Indies by 11 and 34 runs, respectively. Even though the series is done and dusted, the Men in Yellow will be out for blood, looking to whitewash the West Indies in the third match.

In the second T20I at Adelaide, Australia's powerhouse all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell, went on a rampage, hammering an unbeaten 120 runs off just 55 balls, single-handedly propelling Australia to a huge total.

Bowling-wise, Marcus Stoinis led the pack with three wickets to his name. Spencer Johnson and Josh Hazlewood grabbed a couple each, while Jason Behrendorff and Adam Zampa also chipped in with one wicket apiece.

West Indies

On the other hand, the West Indies put up a valiant effort against Australia in both matches but struggled due to their inconsistent batting performance. With the series already slipping away, they will be eager to avoid a clean sweep.

Chasing 242 to win in the second T20I, the West Indies made it to 207 runs with nine wickets gone in 20 overs. Rovman Powell, Jason Holder, and Andre Russell played out of their skins, but the rest of the batters failed to contribute enough, leaving the team just short of victory.

On the bowling front, the West Indies is falling short of expectations. Alzarri Joseph is the only one consistently troubling the Australians, while the rest of the bowlers haven't left a significant mark.

Perth Stadium Pitch Report

The Perth Stadium pitch is likely to be a paradise for batters, with lots of runs up for grabs. However, fast bowlers shouldn't be overlooked either; they will find something in it. Going after the target could be advantageous on this surface.
