Team India will lock horns with England in the third test of the five-match series on February 15th at Rajkot. The series is currently levelled at 1-1, with both teams having won one game each so far.

The first test was played at Hyderabad, and the pitch there was good for the Test match, as the game was competitive and ended on the fourth day with England emerging victorious.

On the other hand, the second Test was played at Vizag, where the pitch was once again a good wicket, especially for the batters, and we saw both teams piling up huge runs on the board, with the hosts ultimately winning the match.

As we head into the third test, there have been reports suggesting that the Indian management has asked the pitch curator at Saurashtra Cricket Stadium in Rajkot to prepare a slower turner rather than a raging one, as per a report from Times of India.

“The Indian team management is comfortable with a slow turner. They don’t want a raging turner," a source told TOI.

By and large, the Rajkot pitch heavily supports the batters, and with England's current proactive approach to cricket, it's a venue that complements their playing style if the pitch remains true to its original nature.
