The Boxing Day Test between India and Australia is on its way to becoming a memorable one after Nitish Kumar Reddy led a spirited fightback for the team with his marvellous ton. However, he didn't last long enough at the beginning of Day 4 as he was dismissed by Nathan Lyon at 114 leaving India with a solid 369 which let the Aussies come into bat with a lead of 105 runs.

Nevertheless, the bowling department of the Men in Blue was also spirited enough to strike early and clean up the Aussies. With a - to chase on Day 5, here's how India vs Australia Day 4 of the 4th Test panned out:

AUS vs IND Highlights: Konstas, Khawaja Falls early, Fails To Build Momentum

The promising Australian debutant Sam Konstas who shone with his brilliant ton in the first innings failed to keep up with the expectations as Jasprit Bumrah bagged him early in the 7th over. Konstas was gone with just 8 off 18 which was then followed by the dismissal of Usman Khawaja.

Mohammed Siraj, who had been quite silent with the ball in Australia's first innings came back with a roar as he ripped Khawaja's off-stump with a ripper. As Steve Smith walked in, Australia was reeling for 43-2 at the end of 18.5 overs.

AUS vs IND Highlights: Bumrah-Siraj Takes Out Aussie Big Guns

Mohammed Siraj continued to tumble the Aussies by flooring the big guns of the middle order. Siraj took out Steve Smith (13) in the 33rd over and it apparently did the trick for the tumble as Australia was triggered with a batting collapse. Travis Head failed again in his second innings as he was sent back by Bumrah in the second ball.

Mitchell Marsh followed for a duck in the last ball of the same over. Alex Carey was also sent back for 2 as Bumrah booked his fourth wicket of the innings. Carey's dismissal left Australia reeling at 91-6 at the end of 36 overs.

AUS vs IND Highlights: Pat Cummins Resists With The Bat As Lyon, Boland Frustrates India Ahead of Stumps

Though the middle order was absolutely destroyed by Bumrah, Pat Cummins played a captain's knock as he offered some resistance with his 41 off 90 before he was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja.

The Indian team, known as the Men in Blue, dominated Australia's innings, leading fans to hope for a quick end to their batting. However, Nathan Lyon and Scott Boland frustrated Indian fans and players alike by putting together a solid partnership of 55 runs off 110 balls as they will head into Day 5, with a lead of 333 runs.
