Ace speedster Josh Hazlewood sustained his purple patch in international cricket, triggering India's batting collapse with a magnificent opening spell in the second T20I. The high-voltage contest at Melbourne Cricket Ground witnessed Hazlewood's seam bowling excellence, as India had no answers to his wizardry in front of a packed crowd. The right-arm pacer bagged crucial wickets of Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma, achieving several phenomenal landmarks. 

Hazlewood becomes Australia's joint-highest wicket-taking pacer in T20Is

Josh Hazlewood had 76 T20I wickets to his name before the Melbourne T20I against India. He ran through the Indian batting lineup and got rid of Gill, Surya and Tilak, finishing his spell with remarkable bowling figures of three for 13. Thus, Hazlewood equalled Mitchell Starc's tally of 79 T20I wickets, becoming Australia's joint most successful pacer in the format.
