It is time for the second T20I between India and Australia, and Mitchell Marsh has won the toss at the MCG. They have decided to bowl first and have made one change to their line-up with Matthew Short in for Josh Philippe. The visitors, on the other hand, are going with the same XI with Arshdeep Singh missing out once again.

In the last match, only 9.4 overs were bowled where India managed to score 97 runs with a loss of one wicket. They will be batting first and would need a score of around 180 at least to challenge a strong Australian unit.

India vs Australia: Captain's talk

Mitchell Marsh (Australia Captain): "We are going to bowl first. Ah, I think a number of things. This is a historic venue, it's special and we knew it's going to be packed tonight. Expecting it to be a great night. The surface looks a good one. Hopefully, it will not change much for 40 overs. Expecting some movement early on for our seamers. (Takeaways from the previous game) Obviously India got off to a good start and then the rain came. There was nothing much to take into account to be honest. Yeah, 1 change. Matthew Short comes in for Josh Philippe."

Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain): "(On practising toss in the nets) Not really. It's okay!!! As long as you get to do what you want, it is fine. (On what he wanted to do on winning the toss) We were looking to bat first only. It looks good. We have seen the stats. Out of 40 times, the teams batting first have won 21 times. That is okay. We are happy to bat first.(Approach with the bat) Absolutely, that is the brand of cricket we want to play. Everyone has a job, and they are doing it very well. (On he getting back amongst the runs) It starts with Abhishek. He sets the tone really well with Shubman Gill. I take it from there in the middle order. Good to be back where I belong and happy to get some runs.(On his partnership with Gill in Canberra) Shubman knows how to score runs. With him, you have to run hard as well between the wickets. As long as you bat together for a long time, it becomes a little easier. No changes for us. We are playing the same team."
