Western Australia recorded an epic collapse during the 10th match of the Marsh Cup 2024-25. They were taking on Tasmania at the WACA in Perth. Tasmania won the toss and opted to field first. 

Western Australia lost Aaron Hardie early, but after that, D'Arcy Short and Cameron Bancroft tried to steady the innings. The duo stitched together a partnership of 35 runs, and it looked like the team was moving towards a respectable total.

Short was the second wicket to fall for Western Australia at the score of 45. After this, they lost Cameron Bancroft at 52, triggering an epic collapse for Western Australia.

Western Australia Lost Eight Wickets For A Single Run

The following seven wickets fell for just a single run and were bundled out for 53. They recorded six ducks, and before long, the disappointing batting show came to an end. Beau Webster was the pick of the bowler for Tasmania. He picked up six wickets for 17 runs from his six overs. 

Tasmania's chase turned out to be easy. They scored the required 54 runs in just 8.3 overs, winning the match by seven wickets.
