For his outstanding effort of four overs, 16 runs and two wickets of Haseebullah Khan and Tom Kohler-Cadmore at a crucial stage, Usama Mir is player of the match in this game. Runs were hard to comeby for Zalmi and Usama is the prime reason why.

What an outstanding display of cricket from Multan Sultans. An all-round display of brilliance. Wickets from Usama Mir and Chris Jordan caused all sorts of problem to the Zalmi batters. Babar was getting into his zone but couldn't extend his stay beyond 46 runs as Jordan bowled a peach to get rid of him. Mohammad Haris and Tom Kohler-Cadmore tried their best to get some runs but couldn't do much. In the end, just 146 on the board which was never going to be enough.

Sultans started positively courtesy of Yasir Khan who smashed his first half-century of the season. He found boundaries on regular basis and didn't let the match go out of their grip. Usman Khan played a crucial role with the bat striking 36 from 28 ball but the major effort was put in by Iftikhar Ahmed who just faced eight deliveries in the entire innings for 22 with three fours and a six. Sultans finished the game in 18.3 overs and seven wickets to spare to reserve a slot in the finale while Zalmi will grinding it out in the second eliminator.

What an effort that was from Multan Sultans to hold Peshawar to a below-par total of 146 on Karachi wicket. Peshawar started well courtesy of Babar Azam's 46 but lost their way out in the middle after wickets continue to fell.
