Veteran English seamer Chris Jordan starred with the ball for Multan Sultans in the PSL 2024 qualifier against Peshawar Zalmi, as he cleaned up Babar Azam with a lethal yorker. Hailed for his incredible death bowling skills, Jordan did the damage for Zalmi in the 14th over of their innings.

After losing three crucial wickets for just 57 runs, Peshawar Zalmi recovered from the early jitters, courtesy of a consolidating stand between Babar and Tom Kohler-Cadmore.

While Babar looked sublime during his stay, his English partner took some time before playing couple of delightful shots.

However, as soon as Mohammad Rizwan brought Jordan back into the attack, his decision proved to be a masterstroke, as he castled Babar with a peach.

After keeping things tight in his first three deliveries, Jordan bowled an inch-perfect yorker, to which Babar had no answer. The Pakistani stalwart tried to guide it safely towards the third-man, but missed it completely, with the ball shattering his off stump.

Babar's wicket held significant importance for Peshawar, as he was all set for a big score. Swashbuckling Caribbean batter Rovman Powell joined Kohler-Cadmore in the middle following the captain's dismissal. As of writing, the Zalmi were in a spot of bother, placed at 108 for four in 15 overs.
